As an athlete my entire life, I have a lot of past injuries that caused joint issues, so finding workouts that were low impact became a top priority. I began yoga, pilates, and strength training but missed that feeling you get from a solid cardio based workout. Additionally, working in the events industry, I often have a very chaotic schedule with limited time to dedicate to workouts. About three years ago, I tried a Versa Climb class with some friends. Finding a fun, low impact, full body, high intensity workout that was only 30 mins was an absolute game changer. I’ve been hooked ever since!
I moved to the OC recently and went on a search for a closer studio with instructors and a community I could connect with. After a year of not finding a good fit anywhere, enter The Dungeon! I joined the studio when they added Versa and ended up deciding to start Lagree consistently as well. I loved the welcoming and supportive energy of the studio and all of the challenges that the instructors encourage you to take to keep pushing yourself.
I am extremely passionate about the Versa workout and what it has done for me physically and mentally and wanted to be able to share this with others by becoming an instructor. With encouragement from the team at the Dungeon, I got certified through Versa with the amazing Loui!
Because of my own injuries, I am highly focused on form during classes and will always look for adjustments to ensure everyone stays safe but pushes themselves. I like to create routines that have a specific focus and progression to help everyone crush their goals. The music is my favorite part of class so I love getting to put together fun playlists that can be a little unexpected.
